I've got 5 boxes of 5000 cards, and decided to start putting them in order. In the process, I'm going to see how close I am to completing the following sets:

1988-1991 Topps, as well as a few newer sets (not sure what years they are...gold borders, I think 3 different sets)
1988-1991 Donruss
1990-1991 Fleer

I might try for 2008 Topps, but not sure yet. I'm trying to get my son into collecting, and we want to start getting autographs, but I'm not sure if I'm going to go for the whole set or not.

I'm in the midst of going for Topps 08 series 1 right now. I'm averaging about an insert a pack. The rookie cards have been pretty liberal and through 6 packs I haven't gotten a double. You have to love the 10 cards for 2 bucks factor!
